Absolute Bbq is doing it yourself grilling concept, where the grill and the meat half cooked are kept on your grill. I would have preferred to grill the meat from the beginning for that ultimate experience. Anyways it’s not like it’s the end of the world. Starters and meats are served on the table, while the mains ( I was surprised to see a lot many vegetarian options ), salads, desserts, and the chaat is self-served from the buffet. The breads (Tandoori rotis and naans ) are served to the table on request, this means they are hot and crispy(a rarity in Doha ) when u eat. What I also like about the place is that they serve proper North Indian food( hence the curries are rich and heavy ), once again very very difficult to find. The staff there are total gems. No request is too big for them, from the chef serving grilled tuna ( it was a seafood festival when we went there) to our table to the server getting us hot jalebis for us. You can enjoy all this with popular Bollywood numbers ( also never heard of in Doha )playing in the background.
A must-visit for those who love North Indian food.
