You know how you have this feeling ! You see pictures of a place and think to yourself ‘ this does not look good ‘ . My husband kept of making plans to visit it and I kept on postponing it . There came a day I could not postpone it no more. It is a lovely decorated restaurant , it looks like they have less sitting from the outside but then on entering u realize that they do have some more sitting on the first floor. At the moment they have done only a soft opening of the restaurant, hence the menu is limited . I have a confession to make ,my knowledge about Thai and Vietnamese food is very limited to the popular dishes and for Burmese is limited to Chickpea tofu. So it was exciting to see so many dishes on the menu I did not recognize . So far everything was fine ,then the food starting coming and it went down hill from there. We ordered a sharing platter for 2 ( nothing out of the ordinary ) the beef broth ( don’t remember the name ) was too bland ,no flavor or very mildly flavored and I am not only talking about spice. I like bold flavours. We asked for some chili sauce just to make the dish more exciting ( the other sauces were there on our table) but to our horror it was sweeter . Don’t get me wrong , it may suit your taste but it just did not go very nicely with me.
